Shubman Gill, Washington Sundar, Kagiso Rabada, and Rashid Khan are now with the Gujarat Titans (GT) in Ahmedabad, getting ready for the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) with some pre-season practice.
Gill got to the GT camp right after midnight and was welcomed with fireworks.
Sundar didn’t play in India’s Champions Trophy win in Dubai on March 9. He took some time off and had a house-warming party with his family in Chennai before joining GT on Monday morning.
GT is Sundar’s fourth IPL team, after Rising Pune Supergiants, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Last year, GT bought Sundar, who has 37 IPL wickets, for Rs 3.2 crore.
Also, South Africa’s Rabada joined the GT team early Monday.
GT, who won the IPL in 2022, will begin their 2025 season with two home games against Punjab Kings and five-time winners Mumbai Indians on March 25 and 29. They were at the top of the IPL in 2022 and 2023 but didn’t do so great in 2024, finishing in eighth place.
