Noor Ahmad had an unforgettable night during his IPL debut with CSK, sharing the field with MS Dhoni. He kicked off his career with a bang, taking four wickets against the Mumbai Indians to help secure a win at Chepauk. Noor really impressed everyone, getting big names like Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma out and finishing with 4 wickets for just 18 runs.
In his post-match chat, he said, “It feels special to play here in the IPL. I’m happy for the team and happy with my contribution. The focus was to land the ball in the right area. Ultimately, taking the wicket of Surya was special.”
Dhoni had his moment too, pulling off a fast stumping that left everyone, including Suryakumar Yadav, surprised. According to Star Sports, he did it in just 0.12 seconds. Even at 43, Dhoni continues to show why he’s one of the best behind the stumps.
Noor couldn’t hide his excitement, saying, “The stumping from MSD was out of the world. It feels great to have someone like Mahi Bhai behind the stumps; it is a great support for me.”
