The County Championship 2025 is in progress in England. It’s the 125th edition of the English first-class cricket competition.
A total of 18 counties will compete for the top honour for six months between April and September 2025. The counties are clubbed into two divisions, with 10 in Division One and eight in Division Two.
They will play among their division teams and look to remain at the top of the points table to lift the championship.
That said, here’s the points table for the County Championship 2025, along with match results.
County Championship 2025: Points Table
For each win in the County Championship, teams will receive 16 points. If a match ends in a tie or a draw, both teams will share eight points each.
On top of this, teams will also earn bonus points based on their performance in 110 overs of each team’s first innings.

County Championship 2025: Schedule and Match Results
Ten teams are in action in Division One. They will play 14 matches throughout the season, which runs till late September 2025. Teams will play their matches across 15 rounds spread over six months, with a few breaks in between.
