Shakib Al Hasan, the Bangladeshi star, will be the captain of Miami Blaze in the next Max60 T10 Caribbean League. The team announced on social media that Shakib is joining as their new captain.

Miami Blaze will start their Caribbean T10 league on July 17 against Boca Raton Trailblazers in George Town. Shakib Al Hasan recently played for Dubai Capitals in the Global Super League. His stint there ended on July 16 after the Capitals were knocked out.
Angelo Perera from Sri Lanka will be Shakib’s deputy in the league. Shakib, 38, has had a tough year. He was banned from traveling after being accused of corruption. His last game for Bangladesh was against India in 2024. Since then he has been playing in leagues around the world.

In the Global Super League he scored 72 runs in four innings including a fifty. He also bowled well taking five wickets in four innings including four in one game.
The Caribbean T10 League was supposed to start on July 16 but was delayed due to technical issues. Now Miami Blaze will have to play every day which might be tough for Shakib.
