Yash Dayal, a Royal Challengers Bengaluru fast bowler, has been slapped with another serious charge. A teenager has accused him of rape. She claims she was sexually assaulted over the past two years, including during the IPL 2025 season in Jaipur.
This is the second case against Dayal. A woman from Ghaziabad had accused him of sexual assault earlier.
The teenager has filed a complaint at the Sanganer police station in Jaipur. She says Dayal told her he would make her a professional cricketer. She claims he then emotionally blackmailed her into sexual activity for two years.
According to Station House Officer Anil Jaiman, the teenager met Dayal while playing cricket. She says Dayal promised to help her career two years ago and then raped her, as per The Dainik Bhaskar.

The complaint states that during IPL 2025, Dayal took the girl to a hotel in Sitapura and raped her again. She says she filed the complaint on Tuesday after ongoing emotional blackmail and exploitation.
Since the alleged rape happened when the girl was 17, the case comes under the POCSO Act. If convicted, Dayal can face a minimum of 10 years in jail, which can extend to life imprisonment plus fine.
Regarding the Ghaziabad case:
Earlier in July, the Allahabad High Court had stayed Dayal’s arrest in a complaint filed against him of exploiting a woman for five years.
The complaint against Dayal was filed on July 6 at the Indirapuram police station in Ghaziabad under Section 69 of the BNS which deals with sex by deception.
Justices Siddharth Varma and Anil Kumar had granted Dayal protection from arrest till the next hearing date.
