Arjun Tendulkar, son of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, is now engaged to Saaniya Chandhok, granddaughter of Ravi Ghai, a well-known businessman in Mumbai. They had a small, private engagement ceremony.
Saaniya keeps a low profile. Her family has stakes in the InterContinental hotel, Kwality ice cream and Brooklyn Creamery. An Instagram post from Mr. Paws Pet Spa mentions Saaniya as Director and founder of the company. She studied at the London School of Economics and got a Veterinary Technician diploma from the Worldwide Veterinary Service in 2024.
Some online users spotted pictures of Arjun’s sister Sara Tendulkar taking selfies with Saaniya during a trip to Jaipur earlier this year. Saaniya also went to some IPL matches with Sara in recent seasons.
Saaniya keeps a low profile, which is how she and Arjun celebrated their engagement. Many news outlets are saying it was just for close family and friends and neither family has spoken about it officially yet.
