1. 84 runs against England in 2009
In the decider at Mumbai of the 2009/10 England Tour, the young Harmanpreet scored 84 off 113 at 26 for 4 against a bowling attack of England that could never be taken lightly. She withstood the pressure with Mithali Raj and somewhat belted 9 fours while leading India to a total of 206. Despite India going on to lose by 2 wickets, the innings was the highlight and showed that she was more than capable of withstanding pressure from the highly esteemed England side.
2. 107 vs England [2013]

She really made the first hundred in ODIs against England in the 2013 Women’s World Cup. India had a tough time chasing 273. She held strong on her own with an unbeaten 107 off 109 balls that included 8 fours and 2 sixes. Though India lost, that innings showed that she was someone to rely upon, especially in close situations.

This was the semi-final of the 2017 Women’s World Cup when Harmanpreet was unbeaten on 171 against Australia. This is one of the best ever ODI innings. Going out at 35 for 2, she made the game hers against Australia by hitting 20 fours and 7 sixes to take the team to 281 for 4. That unbeaten knock saw India win by 36 runs and go to the finals for the first time ever with the player forever known as the powerhouse hitter.
4. 103* vs South Africa [2024]

That unbeaten 103 earned by Harmanpreet in Bengaluru during the second ODI against South Africa secured the team’s victory. She was not out during the second wicket partnership of 171 runs with Smriti Mandhana, and with some aggressive stroke play towards the end, India managed to put on 325 for 3. Ultimately India won the match by four runs, and the valiant comeback earned her the Player of the Match award.
5. 143 vs England [2022]

World ODI Championship, 21 September 2022: Harmanpreet played an aggressive yet composed innings of 143. Coming in at 66 for 2, she put up 113 runs with Harleen Deol and seized control thereafter to remain unbeaten, hitting 18 fours and 4 sixes as India scored 333 for 5. India lost by 88 runs. This innings again proved that she can take control and dominate when the heat is on.
