Why India and Pakistan play only at neutral venues
India have not toured Pakistan since 2008, and Pakistan last played a bilateral series in India in 2012–13. In December 2024 the ICC agreed that, at ICC events up to 2027, any India–Pakistan match hosted by either country would be played at a neutral venue. That is why India played their 2025 Champions Trophy games in Dubai.
