The ICC Cricket World Cup league is the second edition of the ICC Cricket World Cup League that forms the part of 2027 World Cup Qualification. Administered by the International Cricket Council (ICC) , this league is contested in the ODI format second level of the three-league Cricket World Cup qualification system introduced back in the year 2019.
Seven teams are competing in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. They either directly advance to the World Cup Qualifier or to the World Cup Qualifier Play-off for another chance to enter the Qualifier. From the Qualifier, two teams qualify for the next Cricket World Cup. League 2 and the Qualifier Play-off replaced the ICC World Cricket League Championship and Division Two for World Cup qualification. The first edition of this league has already taken place back in the year from 2019 to 2023.
