Venue: Mirpur
UAE surprised everyone by playing well against Oman. Shaiman Anwar hit a quick 54, which helped UAE score 173. Then, the bowlers did their job, with Mohammad Naveed and Amjad Javed taking important wickets. Oman struggled to bat under pressure and didn’t get close to the score. This was a rare good game for a lesser team.
4. Afghanistan vs Hong kong – Won by 66 runs

Venue: Mirpur
Afghanistan showed how far they have come in T20 cricket by playing a good game against Hong Kong. Mohammad Shahzad hit 61 runs quickly, which helped Afghanistan score 179. Hong Kong couldn’t get going and scored only 113, giving Afghanistan a win that boosted their confidence.
5. Bangladesh vs UAE – Won by 51 Runs

Venue: Mirpur
Bangladesh scored only 134 runs but their bowlers were very good. Mahmudullah batted well to hold the innings together, and Mustafizur Rahman bowled well, taking 2 wickets and making it hard for UAE to score.
