Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), now Royal Challengers Bengaluru, is a top team in the IPL, based in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Since the IPL started in 2008, RCB has been there. The team’s name came from the liquor brand, Royal Challenge.

Chairman: Prathmesh Mishra

Born in 1969, Prathmesh Mishra has been the chairman of Royal Challengers Bengaluru since July 2021. He’s also the CEO of Diageo India and is on the company’s executive committee. Mishra has over 20 years of experience.
Vice President & Head: Rajesh Menon

Rajesh Menon born in 1977 is the vice president and head of the RCB IPL team. Menon has been instrumental in building RCB.
Head of Marketing & Revenue: Nikhil Sosale

Nikhil Sosale born in 1986 leads marketing and revenue for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He’s in charge of the team’s marketing plans and income. His role is very important for the team’s brand and business.

Ajith Ramamurthy born in 1988 is in charge of content and digital for Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He creates content for fans on digital platforms.
Head Coach: Andy Flower

Andy Flower born in 1968 is a former international cricketer from Zimbabwe. He coached the Lucknow Super Giants in the 2022 and 2023 IPL seasons. In August 2023, Andy took over as the head coach of Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In his Coach ship RCB won their first ever men’s IPL title in 2025.
Bowling Coach: Omkar Salvi

Omkar Salvi born in 1981 is a successful coach in Indian domestic cricket. Before coaching he played one List A match for Railways. Salvi was assistant coach for Kolkata Knight Riders and head coach of Mumbai’s senior team. Under his guidance Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy in the 2023-24 season. In 2025 he was appointed as the fast bowling coach for Royal Challengers Bangalore. He helped franchise to win their maiden IPL title in 2025.
Fielding Coach and Talent Scout: Malolan Rangarajan
Malolan Rangarajan born in 1989 is a former Indian cricketer, coach and scout. Since 2019 he has been the head of talent scouting for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Director of Cricket Operations: Mo Bobat

Mo Bobat is also the performance director on the England Cricket Board. Since September 2023 Mo Bobat has been the director of cricket operations for RCB.
Strength and Conditioning Coach: Shanker Basu
Shanker Basu born in 1968 is well known in cricket fitness. His training has helped many international players. Serving RCB in the Indian Premier League, Basu brought a lot of knowledge to the franchise.
Sports Massage Therapist: Navnita Gautam

Navnita Gautam from Canada has lots of massage therapy experience. She worked with the Toronto Nationals and the Indian women’s basketball team. Gautam focuses on each athlete’s specific needs to boost their performance. She became well known as the massage therapist for RCB, one of the few women in a major IPL role. She uses specific massage methods to help players recover, to keep them in great shape during the tournament.
Masseur & Caretaker: Ramesh Mane
Born in 1960, Ramesh Mane is the masseur & caretaker for RCB and has been with the team for seasons. He helps players relax and recover from the game’s demands.
Team Physio: Evan Speechly

Evan Speechly graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1984, is a physiotherapist with a background in sports medicine. With his 30 years of experience, Speechly has worked as a team physio for rugby, soccer and hockey teams. He was also the physio for the Indian international cricket team from 2011 to 2013. Currently, he’s the official physio for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL.
Team Analyst: Freddie Wilde

Freddie Wilde is a cricket analyst and author. He used to work with CricViz, specializing in cricket data and working with broadcasters, players, and teams. He also co-authored “Cricket 2.0: Inside the T20 Revolution”. He’s worked with teams like England and Australia. Now, he’s the team analyst for RCB.
