Yuzvendra Chahal IPL Debut
Yuzvendra Chahal was part of Mumbai Indians squad between 2011 and 2013, but it was only in 2013 that he made his IPL debut. His maiden IPL appearance came against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 24, 2013.
But it wasn’t a memorable match for Chahal, as he gave away 34 runs in his four overs without picking up a wicket. And that was the only match he played in the entire season.

Yuzvendra Chahal Performance in IPL 2024
Yuzvendra Chahal put up a more than decent performance in the IPL 2024 season. The leggie was Rajasthan Royals’ second-best bowler in the season.
Chahal grabbed 18 wickets in 15 matches at an average of above 30. His best bowling performance came against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, as he picked up three wickets for 11 runs. His efforts helped Rajasthan restrict Mumbai to 125 for nine, which they later chased with six wickets to spare.
Yuzvendra Chahal Last IPL Match
Yuzvendra Chahal’s last appearance came in Qualifier 2 of the IPL 2024. He represented Rajasthan Royals against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the do-or-die match on May 24, 2024.
Chahal had an off day, as Hyderbad batters cantered him for 34 runs in his four-over spell at the Chepauk Stadium.

Yuzvendra Chahal IPL Earnings and Auction History
Yuzvendra Chahal landed his first IPL deal back in 2011. Mumbai Indians acquired the leg spinner’s services for INR 10 lakhs.
But he warmed the bench for two seasons before getting a lone chance in 2013. Mumbai let go of Chahal ahead of the 2014 season.
But Chahal’s fortunes changed as Royal Challengers Bengaluru signed him in 2014 for INR 10 lakhs. He went on to become their leading wicket-taker in the IPL.
Ahead of the 2018 auction, Bengaluru retained him for INR 6 crore. In 2022, Chahal entered the auction pool and was snapped up by Rajasthan Royals for INR 6.50 crore.
