The first semi final of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played between two-time winners, India and Australia. Both teams are looking to win the tournament for the third time. The Men In Blue are yet to lose a game while the Aussies have played only one completed match. They won that game and a point each against South Africa and Afghanistan have helped them reach the semis.
The Asian side played all the games at the same venue as they weren’t allowed to travel to Pakistan by the Indian Government. On the other hand, the Aussies played in Lahore and Karachi as their match against the Proteas in Rawalpindi washed out. The wicket at the Dubai International Stadium was helping the spinners after 30-overs during the India vs New Zealand game.
