PBKS Head Coach: Ricky Ponting

Ricky Ponting was appointed as Punjab Kings’ head coach for 2025 IPL on September 18, 2024. He captained the Australia Cricket Team to 2 World Cup wins and has coached Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in the IPL.
Ponting’s coaching record includes 1 IPL title and 4 playoff appearances. He also guided Washington Freedom to MLC 2024 title and has been the strategy coach for Hobart Hurricanes in BBL since 2021.
PBKS 2026 Batting Coach: Brad Haddin

Brad Haddin is still the batting and wicket-keeping coach for Punjab Kings (PBKS) in 2026. Haddin, a former Australian wicketkeeper-batter, helped Australia win the 2013-14 Ashes and the 2015 ODI World Cup.
Haddin also led Australia in T20Is and played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Sydney Sixers. After he retired, he became a coach and has been with PBKS for the past 2 years as the batting coach.
PBKS 2026 Bowling Coach: James Hopes

James Hopes is the PBKS bowling coach for 2026. The former Australian all-rounder worked with Ricky Ponting at Delhi Capitals and played for Punjab Kings in 2008. Charl Langeveldt is out. Sunil Joshi is still the spin bowling coach. Trevor Gonsalves will be the Assistant Bowling Coach for 2026 IPL season according to the Punjab Kings website.
