Red-ball cricket has returned to New Zealand, as the Plunket Shield takes place between November 2024 and April 2025. The New Zealand’s top first-class tournament got underway on November 11.
The 96th edition of the Plunket Shield will run till April 1, 2025, with the topper claiming the trophy after the final round. Since the table toppers get the top honour, the six participating teams look to maximise their points in the tournament.
