APL 2025 is back for its 4th year in 2025, starting from August 8th.
This time 7 teams will play 25 matches in 15 days. APL will be held entirely in Visakhapatnam by Andhra Cricket Association.
In the league stage, the 7 teams will play each other once for 21 matches. Then the play-offs will be 4 matches – Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and Final.
Last year there were 6 teams, now there are 7. Only 4 teams will go to the next round.
The player pool has increased from 430 to 520 this season. The league will be from August 8th to August 23rd, with the final match on the last day. Each team will play 6 matches in the first round.
APL 2025 auction is over. Hanuma Vihari, Ashwin Hebbar, Sheikh Rashid, Ricky Bhui, K.S. Bharat and Nitish Kumar Reddy are the captains.
