The newly launched T20 league in women’s cricket, T20 Spring Challenge 2024, has begun. This tournament will run under the supervision of Cricket Australia (CSA), which has started on October 11 (Saturday). Nine teams are taking part in this tournament, which will face each other in the round-robin format.
A total of 21 matches will take place in the tournament, with the final to be played on October 20. These matches will be played across four different venues. Brisbane, Adelaide, and Sydney are the prime venues for these matches. This tournament is played just ahead of the 10th edition of the Women’s Big Bash League because, due to the packed international schedule, the WBBL has cut off the matches in the last few editions.
