In exciting news, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) will organise the T20 Mumbai League in May-June 2025. This will be the third edition of the domestic T20 league after the last season was held in 2019.

MCA couldn’t organise the tournament in the last few years due to the Covid pandemic and other reasons. But now it’s back to light up the Mumbai skies.
The T20 Mumbai League 2025 will commence on May 26, a day after the IPL 2025 final. It will involve eight teams, representing Mumbai’s suburbs.
While six teams are from the previous editions, two new teams – SoBo Mumbai Falcons and Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals – have entered the fray in the third season. The other participating teams are: ARCS Andheri, Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs, Eagle Thane Strikers, Namo Bandra Blasters, North Mumbai Panthers, and Triumph Knights Mumbai North East.
The league will run for two weeks as teams take on each other. The T20 Mumbai League 2025 will conclude on June 8 with the final match. Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium will host the entire T20 tournament
