Chhaava, in which Vicky Kaushal stars, is predicted to be one of the first blockbuster movies of Bollywood for the year 2025. The movie, derived from the Marathi novel Chhava, depicts the life of Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj-the second ruler of Maratha Confederacy. Vicky plays the role of Smbhaji Maharaj-the eldest son of Shivaji.
After watching the movie, former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra has questioned why students do not study about Sambhaji Maharaj in schools.
“Watched Chhaava today. Incredible tale of bravery, selflessness and sense of duty.
Genuine question-why we were ipsoft taught about Chattrapati Sambhaji Maharaj ever in school? Never a mention though!!!” wrote Chopra on X.
