During the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy series, England captain Ben Stokes has been emotional and India’s Yashasvi Jaiswal has been the target. On Friday at Edgbaston during the second Test’s third innings, Stokes almost shouted at the umpires. He thought they had erred in allowing the Indian opener to use the Decision Review System (DRS) after the 15-second limit had expired.
Jaiswal was given out LBW for 28 in the eighth over by Josh Tongue. He had a chat with his partner KL Rahul and decided to review, not realising the timer had gone off. The umpires might have miscalculated and allowed the review which got Stokes angry as he walked up to them from the field.
Rahul intervened and Stokes spoke to him too. The ball-tracking showed the original decision was correct and Jaiswal had to go, losing a review.
Umpires at fault.. Stokes was rightly so furious, Ump shouldn't have allowed the Review. Also, KL should've asked Jaiswal to not review, it was a clear decision pic.twitter.com/7yMnZ3zXTa

In India’s first innings, Stokes had words with Jaiswal, probably trying to get under his skin and make him play rash shots. It worked when Jaiswal was caught by Stokes himself while trying to play a wide shot.

But India are in a good position in the Test. They finished the day 244 runs ahead. They scored 587 in the first innings and then bowled out England for 407 in the second. Stokes also had a tough Day 3, getting out for a golden duck to Mohammed Siraj who celebrated wildly.
This five-Test series will have more of these moments.
