Playing Test cricket is not just a chance to showcase one’s skills but a pride of place. The number of cricketers who get the opportunity to don the whites is very few.
And the privileged ones not only take the chance with their talent, hard work, and patience but also make the most of it. That is why when a player reaches a certain landmark, it is considered a milestone in his lifetime.
There are several milestones defined in Test cricket; however, a thousand runs in Tests is one such that most have wished for, and out of the many only five players have been able to do so.
