News that shocked nearly everyone is coming from Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of the ICT team, who has reportedly been threatened with death by a group that calls itself ‘ISIS Kashmir.’
Upon learning of this, Gambhir, being a former-cricketing World Cup-winner of sorts, thought that it was best to get in touch with the police in Delhi as soon as possible. He has already requested that they initiate an official complaint, as attested to by the officer-in-charge at the Rajinder Nagar Police Station.
Gambhir received two threatening emails on April 22, with the chilling message ‘IKillU.’ That’s really scary! Now Delhi police are involved and are carrying out a thorough probe into the incident.
They will treat the matter with utmost seriousness so that Gambhir and his family can be secured. This is certainly a scary situation, and we can just pray for a healing soon so that his family can feel at ease.
