The last match of the 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is on in the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on June 3, 2025, between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). Both teams have had their share of frustrations in IPL history and tonight will become one of those defining moments.
The RCB looks to win their first IPL title after having lost three finals (2009, 2011, and 2016). It made it to the final after finishing second in the league stage with 19 points from 14 matches and thrashed PBKS in Qualifier 1. On the other hand, PBKS is also making a strong bid for their first title since entering the finals in 2014. It is an amazing time for their fans to see this 11-year drought finally coming to an end.
