Kagiso Rabada, a South African pace spearhead, is returning to the Gujarat Titans (GT). Rabada was supposed to leave before April 3, leaving the IPL 2025 season early due to a personal family emergency, and there is still no word from him or the team on when he would rejoin them. However, reports from ESPNCricinfo now state that he is likely to meet the squad tomorrow and pare himself for the next match on May 3 against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium.
Thus far, this season, Rabada has played just two matches in the Titans colors-the games against Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians before heading home. Seven subsequent games were missed, and now, the team is tied up with yet another one against Sunrisers Hyderabad
Of course, the Titans go on without their New Zealander all-rounder Glenn Phillips, who was ruled out due to injury. His debut is going to be made this season against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Narendra Modi Stadium by Gerald Coetzee.
