This is a story of one genuinely gifted batter in Indian cricket, Kannaur Lokesh Rahul, popularly known as KL Rahul. Rahul started his international career as a full-time batter and with time has developed into a finisher, opener, and floater, and even sometimes wicket-keeper, marking the place of an all-rounder in between, rather than being just a brilliant batter.
Being very calm and composed as a batsman, KL Rahul is the third Indian player to have seventy hundreds across all three formats with some of the highest conversion rates.

Rahul started his Test career with style, banging his maiden Test hundred in only the second red-ball game for India, at Sydney in 2015. Having made runs in Tests, Rahul became the first Indian batter to score a hundred on ODI debut, thus holding strong further with the side.
