The journey of the UAE in T20 cricket has been quite positive and bright, as it was based on bigger and better exposure. 3. 62/10 vs Scotland, Dubai, 2024
The third one in the list is UAE’s 2024 T20I series decider against Scotland, as it is very ironic after Scotland themselves struggled with the bat and got their total to only 94. What happened next was phenomenal. Scotland’s fast bowlers were able to get through the UAE batting line-up very quickly, then spinners took over and completely wiped out the chase. UAE lost all their wickets at 62 runs and thus gave one of the most thrilling low-scoring wins in recent years to Scotland.
2. 59/10 vs Pakistan A, Doha, 2025*
The second-smallest total was just recently seen in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 in Doha where the UAE A team had a very harsh day against the Pakistan A team. After choosing to bat first, UAE A batters never got into their rhythm as Pakistan A bowlers kept a tight grip on all fronts, not allowing scoring opportunities and forcing mistakes all over the innings. No partnership could last long, and UAE A collapsed to 59 all out in what was already a one-sided affair.
1. 57/10 vs India, Dubai, 2025
UAE’s lowest T20 total occurred during the 2025 Asia Cup in Dubai, where the Indian attack spearheaded by Kuldeep Yadav superbly overshadowed the home side. Kuldeep had a field day with an incredible 4 for 7, decimating the middle order while the rest of the bowling unit kept applying the same relentless pressure. UAE could not find the right tempo and were bowled out for only 57 runs while batting first.
