Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) has opted to keep hold of Nicholas Pooran, Mayank Yadav, and Ravi Bishnoi ahead of IPL 2025. However, LSG’s captain since its formation in 2022, KL Rahul, perhaps will not be retained, though the final call is yet to be announced. LSG will have one Right-to-Match (RTM) card available for the auction, and the retention cost of these five players will deduct INR 51 crore from LSG’s INR 120 crore budget, or more if the players’ aggregated salaries exceed this retention slab.
