1. MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni has the record of being the most accomplished and hence the most wins among IPL captains in the history of the tournament. 2. Rohit Sharma
On the other hand, Rohit Sharma has been the captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI) since 2013 and has had a total of 158 matches as captain. During this period, the MI has won 87 matches with a winning percentage of 55.06%. Coming to his IPL career, Rohit made his debut in 2008 with DCH (Deccan Chargers) and till now he has played a total of 267 matches and scored 7046 runs.
3. Gautam Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir captained the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 129 matches and secured victory in 71 of them, which gives him a winning percentage of 55.42%. He was the captain of KKR when the latter won the IPL championship in 2012 and 2014. He talked about his IPL career, got his first job in 2008 with Delhi Capitals, and has played for two teams, including KKR.
4. Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli is an eminent cricketer who has led the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 143 matches where he emerged victorious in 66 matches. His winning percentage amounts to 46.15%. Regarding the course of his IPL career, he started in 2008 with RCB and has never been in any other franchise since the very beginning.
5. David Warner
The Australian cricketer David Warner captained SRH (Sunrisers Hyderabad) and DC (Delhi Capitals) with an approximate winning percentage of 48.90%.
