Pakistan’s Salman Mirza spoke to the media on Sunday about his team’s preparations for the upcoming tri-series in Dubai against Afghanistan and the UAE.
Mirza said the training camp and practice matches helped the team a lot. The practice is going well. We had practice and a match. This gives us a good chance to learn the environment and get ready, Mirza said.
Role in the side
The 31-year-old also talked about his role in the team, saying he’s not really an all-rounder. I can bat a bit, but I’m not an all-rounder. If I have to be there to finish a match, I will, he said.
I couldn’t finish the practice match, but it was on me to do it. If that happens in a real game, I need to be ready, he added.

Of course, the India games are big, but we are preparing well, and hopefully we will get results, he added.
Views about the Tri series
