Rashid Khan, the Afghanistan captain, thinks Shubman Gill is India’s best option to lead the Test team. He loves India as a cricketing nation and hopes Afghanistan’s international cricket grows. The T20 captain wants his national team to have more matches to play competitive cricket.
Khan said, I enjoy watching Shubman play. I think he would be a great captain for Team India. He gets better with every game. When I visit India, I’m always impressed by the fans. They are so united and cheering creates a very positive atmosphere. This was stated in a press release by MH Developers.
Khan also said the Afghan team needs to play more international cricket. He said, We need more cricket to improve, especially against the top teams. Playing against strong teams regularly helps you to develop. We haven’t had a series in the last four to five months. Our players are busy with franchise leagues but the national team hasn’t been active. He said this in an interview on Wednesday.
The Afghan cricket star made these comments after being announced as the Brand Ambassador for MH Developers in Dubai. Murtaza Hashmi, CEO of MH Developers, said the partnership is a good sign for Dubai’s growing reputation for investment and luxury living.
Hashmi said, Dubai’s secure and well-managed economy has made the property market more attractive, especially now when there are security concerns in other areas. Rashid Khan’s global reputation and commitment to excellence are very similar to our company’s values. This partnership will allow MH Developers to reach more people and strengthen our position in this good market.

About the future of cricket in Afghanistan, Khan is optimistic and hopes to see more domestic leagues rise. He said, We have a lot of talent back home but they need opportunity. I believe in them. When they play against top teams they gain confidence and start to perform better. Countries with strong domestic leagues allow their young players to play with international stars for a month or two. That’s how they improve. I hope we can develop something similar in Afghanistan so our young talent can gain experience and develop faster.
