Pant was out of cricket for a few months due to a foot fracture that he suffered during the Test series between England and India in July. Now he is back to normal, as he himself claimed in a BCCI interview at the CoE during the 1st unofficial Test between India A and South Africa A.

Rishabh Pant, now the captain of the India A team, narrated in detailed how he has been recovering from the toe-crushing yorker during the Manchester Test. He also expressed his gratitude to the CoE staff very plainly, saying that they were the ones who carried him through this struggle.
“I started my rehab very slowly. The first week was full of physiotherapy and close monitoring. As soon as I got some movement back, I started the strength training which was the beginning of the second phase. Now, I’m very happy to say that I’m fully healed, and a huge part of the credit goes to the CoE staff for always being there for me throughout,” he further said.
Rishabh Pant, who is known for his miraculous recovery from a life-threatening car accident, revealed the advantages of a positive outlook. He stressed the need for the presence of cheerful thoughts during the healing process.
