Rishabh Pant, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter, took a break before the third Test against England at Lord’s and attended Wimbledon. After helping India draw the first Test at Edgbaston and level the five-match series 1-1, the star cricketer looked quite dapper.
Wimbledon posted pictures on Instagram of him in a striped suit and tie. Known for his fun behind the wickets and his fearless batting, Pant also wore glasses he hadn’t worn before, looking stylish.
Before him, Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were at Wimbledon. Joe Root of England and Brian Lara of the West Indies were also there.
Pant surprised fans who thought he’d be playing PlayStation between Tests by showing interest in tennis.
Pant has been in great form since arriving in England, scoring two centuries in the first Test at Headingley. He scored 134 in the first innings and then 118.
