Every cricketer dreams of playing in the World Cup and representing their country. Playing at home will be exciting and tough, so it’s extra special. It’s more special for Harman didi (Harmanpreet Kaur) who has dedicated so many years to cricket. Our main goal is to win the World Cup, she said.
Sneh also talked about how WPL has given Indian cricketers exposure to top international talent.
It provides a platform to play with and learn from world-class players. We also get to learn from top foreign coaches, understand their strategies and reactions in pressure situations. Even just watching them can teach you a lot, she added.
Since WPL started in 2023, Sneh has played 17 matches for Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and has taken 12 wickets at an average of 35.33, her best being 3/26.
Sneh also said the World Cup is always on the team’s mind whenever India plays a series.
This is Amol Muzumdar (Head Coach, Team India) sir’s first World Cup so it’s very special. We are ready to play in front of huge crowds in India and we expect a great experience, she said.
