PCB Chairman Naqvi is considering recruiting Richards, and he’s also pushing to hire a foreign chief curator. Australian curator Tony Hemmings is a top choice for the job. Currently working with the Bangladesh Cricket Board, Hemmings is willing to move to Pakistan.
To improve home grounds for the upcoming domestic season PCB Chairmen Naqvi is considering hemmings for the purpose. Hemmings has a strong background, having worked as an International Cricket Soil Advisor and Consultant for the Western Australia Cricket Association in Perth. He also has experience as the Head Curator at the ICC Cricket Academy and the Dubai International Stadium. With his expertise, he can help the PCB improve pitch quality in the country before the upcoming domestic season.
