India’s major spin follower Kuldeep Yadav tied up with his childhood friend, Vanshika, in June 2025. Besides getting engaged, they also had a little glamorous ceremony and since then people have been asking and waiting to know about the future Mrs. Yadav. Moreover, the wedding is most likely to happen this month, hence the baller player may also be absent for a few matches due to the event.
Who’s Vanshika?
Vanshika hails from Shyam Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She is currently employed by the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). When she was a kid, Kuldeep and Vanshika lived in the same neighborhood and their friendship has blossomed into a love affair. Though she keeps a low profile, insiders claim that she has always been a strong pillar in the cricketer’s life.
On June 4, 2025, the two lovebirds exchanged rings in a private ceremony held in Lucknow. Attending were only the closest family members along with a few friends among which was the Indian batter Rinku Singh. The activity was not public by any means, however, the pictures that leaked immediately gained wide popularity.
Kuldeep was dressed in a cream-colored Bandhgala suit, and Vanshika, in a stunning orange lehenga. The couple had originally intended to tie the knot in the same month but had to postpone the wedding because of a clash in schedules. The engagement also became a hot topic again recently when Kuldeep deleted a picture he had shared for a while with Vanshika.
Kuldeep requests BCCI for a leave
As per the Times of India, the couple Kuldeep and Vanshika have now fixed their wedding on the last week of November 2025. As a result, the ace spinner has sought BCCI’s approval for his absence which may lead to him not playing in the second Test match of the current India-South Africa series.
On the other hand, the player has been performing remarkably well, having taken 12 wickets against West Indies, showcasing his skills in IPL 2025 for Delhi Capitals, and being a key player for India in T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025. During the first Test of the current series against South Africa in Kolkata, the 30-year-old bowler had match figures of 2/36 and 2/30 respectively.
