The eighth edition of the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 has kickstarted on November 11, 2024, in Rajgir, Bihar. The Asian Hockey Federation organises the hockey tournament every two years.
This time, it will be a 10-day event, with six international teams participating in the continental tournament. India is hosting the tournament in a row, which sees China, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, and Thailand play for the top honour.
Japan and Korea opened the tournament with a 2-2 draw, while China hammered Thailand by 15-0.

Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024: Points Table
A win in the league stage will guarantee three points for a team. If a match ends in a draw, then teams will share one point each.

The six teams will take on each other in a single round-robin format before the knockouts. A total of 15 matches will take place in the league stage played between November 11 and 17.

After the round-robin stage, the top four teams on the points table will qualify for the semi-finals. The fifth and sixth-placed teams will play in a match to decide their final positions.
Once the semi-finals conclude, the winners will move to the final, while the losers will play against each other in the third-place match. The winner of the final will be crowned the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 winners.
