Visakhapatnam’s ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium may not be a prominent venue in India, but it has been host to several international matches. And the madness of the IPL has also been here.
Since IPL 2024, Delhi Capitals (DC) have been playing a couple of their home matches in Vizag, making it their home away from home. Before DC’s move, the venue was home to Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Mumbai Indians (MI), and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS).
As the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium is set to host two matches in IPL 2025, here are the venue’s IPL stats and records.

And the same is visible from the above stats. Teams have won eight games while defending their totals and seven matches have gone in chasing teams favours. Even the toss doesn’t play a larger role here.
The pitch in Vizag doesn’t have a lot of bounce, while spinners find decent help. And chasing targets might not be an easy task, though, batters have enjoyed batting here in recent matches.
The first innings par score is around 167. But if the last few matches played here are an indication, it might be difficult to defend anything around 170.
