Mayank Yadav has been part of Lucknow Super Giants since 2022. But he had to wait till 2024 to make his IPL debut.
The day finally came when Mayank got his maiden cap against Punjab Kings in Lucknow on March 30, 2024. And he made everyone keep an eye on the speedometer.
Mayank started hitting 150+ kmph and then derailed Punjab’s chase by taking three wickets for 27 runs in four overs.

Mayank Yadav Performance in IPL 2024
After his rocking debut against Punjab, he went one step further in his second match. In his next match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Mayank delivered the fastest ball of the IPL 2024, clocking 156.7 kmph and taking three wickets
His debut stint wasn’t longer as he suffered an injury, ending it with seven wickets in four matches. Mayank also won the Player of the Match award in his first two matches.
Mayank Yadav Last IPL Match
Mayank featured in three back-to-back games, but then he had a minor niggle. He missed Lucknow’s five matches before playing his last match on April 30, 2024, against Mumbai Indians.
