Kuldeep Yadav IPL Debut
Kuldeep Yadav played his debut match in the IPL on April 13, 2016. He represented KKR against Mumbai Indians.
It was an expensive outing for the left-arm wrist spinner, as MI batters carted him out for 37 runs. But he did pick up a wicket in his four overs.
Kuldeep featured in two more matches and wrapped up his debut season with six wickets at an average of 16.66.

Kuldeep Yadav had a decent outing in the IPL 2024 season. He was largely consistent, though he went for runs in a few matches. Kuldeep grabbed 16 wickets in 11 matches for Delhi at an average of 23.25.

Kuldeep Yadav IPL IPL Auction Price History
Kuldeep Yadav got his first IPL deal in 2012. Mumbai Indians bought him for INR 10 lakh but didn’t give him a game that season.
In 2014, Kuldeep moved to KKR for INR 40 lakh, but it took another two seasons to make his debut. After impressive performances in 2016 and 2017, the franchise retained the wrist spinner for INR 5.80 crore in 2018.
He had a good season in 2018 but couldn’t perform like that in the next two seasons, resulting in KKR letting him go ahead of the 2022 auction. Then Kuldeep landed a deal with DC for INR 2 crore.
Before the 2025 auction, Kuldeep’s salary rose to INR 13.25 crore as the franchise retained him for IPL 2025.
