Two-time IPL winner Ravichandran Ashwin will be up against his former India captain Virat Kohli and upcoming prodigy Rajat Patidar when CSK plays RCB on March 28. Both teams, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will play each other at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Ashwin has returned to CSK where it all started for him in the IPL. On the other hand, Kohli and Patidar continue to be part of RCB.
Ravichandran Ashwin vs Virat Kohli: Dismissal and Runs conceded
Both players clashed against each other for the first time in 2010. This was Ashwin’s debut season with the Yellow Brigade while Kohli was and still is part of the Red brigade. Meanwhile, since then, the 2011 World Cup winner has dismissed his team-mate from the 2011 tournament only once. Kohli got out to Ashwin in the 2020 season for the first and only time up until now.
The right-arm off-spinner used to play for Delhi Capitals in that season. Kohli was caught by former Australia player Marcus Stoinis in that game won by the Capitals. Ashwin has never dismissed Kohli in CSK colours.

Ravichandran Ashwin vs Rajat Patidar
Rajat Patidar made his IPL debut in 2021 but didn’t get to play enough games. A year later, he was brought in as a replacement for Luvnith Sisodiya, who got injured and is now part of Kolkata Knight Riders. Meanwhile, Patidar has been dismissed by Ashwin twice. Both dismissal happened in the 2022 season when the latter was playing for Rajasthan Royals.
