The 62nd game of IPL 2025 sees the Chennai Super Kings face the Rajasthan Royals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. This is a mostly inconsequential game, with both teams out of the playoff race, but both sides will want to go out on a high note. Meanwhile, there are some interesting player clashes worth following.
Sanju Samson vs Noor Ahmed
First on the block: Sanju Samson v Noor Ahmad. Samson is back with RR post-injury and scored 20 against Punjab Kings in the last game. He faces Noor who is having a stellar season with 20 wickets. Interestingly, Samson has been dismissed by Noor twice in the three T20 meetings between them.
Shivam Dube vs Wanindu Hasaranga
Next up is Shivam Dube v Wanindu Hasaranga. Dube hasn’t done much for CSK this season but has been decent at times as an Impact Player. He faces Hasaranga, who has gotten him out once in their three T20 games. Still, Dube hits at an impressive rate of 215 against the spinner.
Yashasvi Jaiswal vs Khaleel Ahmed
Finally, keep an eye on Yashasvi Jaiswal and Khaleel Ahmad. Khaleel has been his own man in the Powerplay this season, so his tussle against in-form opener Jaiswal will be a sight to see. The duo have met four times in the T20 format, with Khaleel edging Jaiswal, having dismissed him twice. Jaiswal, however, has a 200.00 strike rate upon confronting Khaleel.
