The DP World International League Season 4 player auction is on September 30 in Dubai. Each of the 6 teams can add up to 13 players to their team at the auction, that’s 78 players.
If you want to register, you have till September 10. The 6 teams have a total of $4.8 million to spend on players. More info on team budgets, auction order and player list coming soon.
According to ILT20 CEO David White, they are pleased to confirm the auction date. He says it’s a big event for the league as it grows into a top tier T20 tournament. It’s a good chance for teams to add local and international talent for Season 4.
White also mentioned that the ACC Asia Cup 2025 in the UAE from September 9-28 is a great opportunity for UAE players to impress everyone before the auction. They will get great exposure against some of the best T20 teams.
Before the auction, the third DP World ILT20 Development Tournament is happening later this month. This, together with the Asia Cup, gives local players another chance to shine.

What’s new in this year ILT 20 Season 4?
The ILT20 won’t overlap with the SA20 so the tournament has reduced each team’s salary cap by 20%.
Before each team had a US$2.5 million salary cap for the first three years. Now it’s US$2 million.
ESPNCricinfo says the decision was made after the ILT20 announced the next event will be from December 2 to January 4. That only overlaps with SA20 for a very short period. This opens up the player availability calendar so teams can manage with a bit less pay.
The league is also going to an auction for the first time after directly signing players for the first three seasons. The auction will happen in September. Teams will get a retention period to keep the players they want. Teams will still get an extra US$250,000 for wildcard signings.
The ILT20 Player Auction is the second step in selecting teams for Season 4. Earlier this month, the teams selected 8 players per team through new signings and retentions. The list of those picks is below.

The International League T20 Season 4 starts on December 2 which is UAE National Day (Eid-Al-Etihad). 6 teams and 34 matches, final on January 4.
