Head Coach: Stephen Fleming

Stephen Paul Fleming, born in New Zealand on April 1, 1973, is a former international cricketer.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is a well known cricket team based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. After retiring from the sport he transitioned into coaching. Fleming quickly made a name for himself as a leader and tactician. He took over as the head coach of CSK in 2009.
Fleming’s impact on CSK has been massive. Under his guidance the team won the 2010 Champions League title, a big milestone in his coaching career. The team went on to win consecutive IPL titles in 2010 and 2011. In 2014 CSK won another Champions League Twenty20 title. His ability to think on his feet and his good working relationship with MS Dhoni has been a key to CSK’s continued success. CSK has won the IPL titles in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021 and 2023.
Batting Coach: Michael Hussey

Michael Hussey, also known as Mr. Cricket is an Australian cricket coach, commentator and former international player who has played all formats of the game. Hussey was with CSK from 2008 to 2018.
Throughout his IPL career Hussey has been a consistent run scorer and has earned the reputation of being a pressure player. In 2008 he made history by becoming the second batsman to score a century against Kings XI Punjab. After retiring from international cricket in 2012 he then retired from the IPL in 2015. Hussey transitioned into the role of Batting Coach for CSK.
Fielding Coach: Rajiv KumarRajiv Kumar, who played first class cricket for Bihar and Jharkhand is the fielding coach of CSK. Kumar’s playing career spanned from mid 1990s to 2010. During his playing days Kumar captained MS Dhoni in first class matches.
Kumar played 84 first class matches, scored 5077 runs with a highest score of 164. He scored 175 runs in T20s with a strike rate of 110.06. Although he wasn’t directly involved in the IPL as a player, his experience and skills led to him being appointed as the fielding coach of CSK.
Physical Trainer: Gregory King

Gregory King also known as Greg King is a South African former first class cricketer who made a name for himself as a fitness coach. He has worked as a physical trainer for both the Indian and South African national cricket teams. He is currently the physical trainer of CSK.
King focuses on preparing players physical fitness and making sure they are match fit.
The Physio: Tommy Simsek

Tommy Simsek is a widely respected cricket physiotherapist. He is involved in sports injury and rehabilitation fields for the fitness and well-being of the players of CSK. He initially joined CSK for a brief period and was part of the medical support team for some time. He later returned for some time as the team’s physio.
Simsek ensures that the players remain fit and are rehabilitated well. His behind-the-scenes work elevates the team’s level of performance and health.
Bowling Consultant: Eric Simmons

Eric Simmons has been an assistant coach with CSK for seven years. During the two years CSK was banned, he was the bowling coach for Rising Pune Supergiant.
