Global T20 Canada is a twenty twenty format professionally played regional cricket in Canada. The tournament started back in July 2018 with four teams competing. Administered and managed by the Cricket Canada and Bombay Sports Limited this season will be the fourth edition of the tournament.
Featuring a total of 6 teams which are Brampton Wolves, Toronto Nationals, Montreal Tigers, Bangla Tigers Mississauga, Vancouver Knight and Surrey Jaguars, the tournament will follow a round robin format. With a total of 25 T20s fixed, the tournament will have 21 league matches and the 3 playoffs matches. Conclusion of the playoffs will take teams to the ultimate showdown of the competition i.e the final of the Global T20 Canada, 2024.
Starting from the 25th July (American date) the league will almost go for exciting match clashes for about a month and then it will conclude on August 21, 2024.
Based on the standings on Global T20 Canada, 2024 Points Table, the top four teams will move forward for the knockout stage of the tournament. The table toppers of the points table will go head to head in the Qualifier 1 match scheduled to take place on the 9th August 2024 and the third and fourth team will then follow up in an eliminator match scheduled the same day at the same venue. The winner of this eliminator match will play against the loser of the Qualifier 1, in the Qualifier 2 match. The winner of this match will play against the Qualifier 1 winner in the final battle.

The team’s performance is noted down on the points table. Based on it the teams will move for the knockout matches after following 21 matches of the group stage. Currently, all teams have just entered the tournament and are yet to play the remaining matches. The points table will be further updated for each team with the number of wins, losses, or ties recorded.

Featuring a total of 6 teams the twenty twenty short format cricket tournament will begin with more excitement and zeal to win and lead the scoreboard of the points table. These 6 teams will go for head to head clashes in the 21 league stage matches and then based on the points table standings the teams will proceed to the Qualifiers or playoffs of the league.

Global T20 Canada, 2024 is scheduled to take place from July 25 to August 11, featuring a series of matches at a fixed venue which is CAA Centre, Brampton, Ontario. The league will follow a round robin format and will conclude the season by ending it with champion in hand for the fourth edition for 2024.
