Ravi Bishnoi, who hails from Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, is an Indian leg spinner. The 2000-born leggie made waves in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, ending up as the leading wicket-taker with 17 scalps for India.

Ravi Bishnoi IPL Debut
Following his remarkable performance in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, Ravi Bishnoi made his IPL debut in the same year. He turned up for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) against Delhi Capitals in Dubai on September 20, 2020.
Bishnoi was decent on his debut and bowled an economical spell while taking one wicket for 22 runs. The leg spinner played in the whole season and picked up 12 wickets in 14 innings at an economy rate of 7.37.

Ravi Bishnoi Performance in IPL 2024
Ravi Bishnoi’s bowling performance in the IPL 2024 was below average. He took only 10 wickets despite playing all 14 games.
The leg spinner went wicketless in six innings, though he didn’t bowl his full quota of overs in five of those innings. And this was Bishnoi’s slightly expensive IPL season, conceding almost 9 runs per over.

Ravi Bishnoi’s last IPL appearance came on May 17, 2024. He played for Lucknow Super Giants against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium.

Ravi Bishnoi IPL Earnings & Auction History
Even before his heroics at the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, Ravi Bishnoi had secured his maiden IPL deal with Kings XI Punjab. The franchise bought him at INR 2 crore.
Punjab released Bishnoi ahead of the 2022 mega auction, and this time, Lucknow Super Giants splurged INR 4 crore to acquire his services. After his good performances with Lucknow, the franchise has now awarded Bishnoi a fresh contract for INR 11 crore while retaining him for the IPL 2025.
