T20 Blast 2025: Schedule, Teams, Captains, Venues & Live Broadcast Info

England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) will organise the T20 Blast in 2025. The premier T20 tournament will commence on May 29 with 18 teams in action.

The 18 teams have been split into two groups – North and South. The North Group comprises Birmingham, Derbyshire, Durham, Lancashire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Worcestershire, and Yorkshire. And the South Group features Essex, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Kent, Middlesex, Somerset, Sussex, and Surrey.

Lancashire will take on Worcestershire, while Middlesex will take Sussex on the opening day. Teams will play against their group members, playing 14 matches in total.

Following that, the top four teams from both groups will qualify for the quarter-finals, which will take place in early September. The winners will further proceed to the Finals Day scheduled for September 13.

In all, 133 matches will take place in the T20 Blast 2025 over three months, with the seven matches part of the knockouts. The Finals Day will have two semi-finals and the final to decide the new winner.
