Virat Kohli returned to IPL 2024 after a long break from cricket. That break worked wonders for him, as he ended up with his second-best IPL outing.

After he led India to the 2008 Under-19 World Cup victory, Virat Kohli secured his IPL gig. RCB signed him for INR 12 lakhs ahead of the inaugural season in 2008.
Since then, Kohli has been the backbone of the RCB. The franchise has retained him ever since, with his salary increasing manifolds.
After the first three seasons, Kohli’s pay increased to INR 8.28 crore. Ahead of the 2014 season, his salary rose to INR 12.50 crore.
