Yashasvi Jaiswal’s IPL debut came in the 2020 season played in the UAE. He turned up for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings on September 22, 2020, in Sharjah.
Jaiswal had a forgettable outing in his debut IPL match, as he scored only six runs in as many balls before top-edging the ball and handing out an easy catch.
In his second match, Jaiswal bagged a two-ball duck. But in the next match, he scored 34 against Delhi in a losing cause, which was his last appearance in his debut season.

Yashasvi Jaiswal Performance in IPL 2024
Yashasvi Jaiswal had a mixed outing in the IPL 2024 season. He was among the top 15 run-scorers, with 435 runs in 15 innings at a strike rate of 155.91.
Jaiswal’s bat didn’t do much talking in the first few matches, but then he changed his gears. He scored five 30+ scores, including an unbeaten 104 against Mumbai Indians and 67 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Jaiswal scored back-to-back 40+ scores in the Eliminator and Qualifier 2, but RR fell short of making it to the Final of the IPL 2024.

Yashasvi Jaiswal IPL Earnings and Auction History
After a remarkable performance in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup, Jaiswal bagged his maiden IPL deal in 2020. Rajasthan Royals snapped him up in the 2020 auction for INR 2.40 crore.
Two seasons later, the franchise signed him again for INR 4 crore ahead of the 2022 season. He continued with the Royals and performed extremely well.
