The Ireland batter was run out in the ninth over of the ongoing match. The visitors won the toss and elected to bat at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot. Titas Sadhu broke the opening stand with the wicket of Sarah Forbes in the fifth over. After this wicket, the European side managed to hit only one four and played a lot of dot balls for the next four overs. In the ninth over, Raymond-Hoey went for a non-existent quick single. This led to a confusion between Raymond and Gaby Lewis.
The former went halfway down the wicket from the strike end but before she could make it back, the throw from Rodrigues was received by Ghosh, who removed the bails.
