The ongoing LPL 2024 season is moving to its end after a showdown of the 20T20 matches and top four teams qualifying to the semi-finale of the tournament. The Semi finale of the LPL 2024 is scheduled to take place on the two days one being on July 18 and other on the July 20. Total of three matches will take place under the LPL Semi Final 2024 i.e. Qualifier 1, Eliminator and the Qualifier 2.
With the top four teams, Galle Marvels Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers or Kandy Falcons qualifying into the semi-Finals, they will face off each other in the knockout matches to compete for a spot in the ultimate finale of the ongoing LPL 2024. Administered by the Sri Lanka Cricket the Lanka Premier League has reached its final showdown stage where the winner of the Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 will go in a head to head battle. This fifth LPL Season will have its finale on 21 July 2024.
LPL 2024 Semi-Finals:
A total of five teams participated in the LPL 2024 season, out of which four top teams on the points table have made it to the semi-final stage of the tournament. Following it Galle Marvels Jaffna Kings, Colombo Strikers or Kandy Falcons have made it to the semi final matches scheduled on July 18 and July 20.

All the matches are scheduled to take place on the grounds of the Sri Lankan land at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. The first two matches of this Semi Finale will take place on Thursday on July 18 2024 and the other Qualifier 2 will take place on July 20 2020 where the winning team of the eliminator match will have a face off against the losing team of the Qualifier 1 match.

LPL 2024: Semi-Final Teams
Galle Marvels vs Jaffna Kings: Qualifier 1
The first match of the semi final would take place between this season’s top team galled marvels and the top placed second team Jaffna kings.
Both the teams in this fifth edition of the tournament had a great season where they both played a total of 5 matches winning 5 each and losing 3 each.
Colombo Strikers vs Kandy Falcons: Eliminator
The eliminator match of the LPL 2024 will take place between the third placed and fourth placed teams Colombo strikers and the Kandy Falcons. In this season both the teams have played a total of 8 matches, where the Colombo has won 4 and lost 4 matches. On the other hand the falcons have lost 5 and have only won 3 matches.
Qualifier 2
The teams competing here in this match would be the teams that have won the Eliminator match and the losing team of the Qualifier 1 match. The Qualifier and Eliminator matches are yet to be played therefore the teams competing in this match are yet to be announced.
